Levels Training

Hot Diggity Doggie Camp is pleased to announce the most innovative, flexible, and cost-effective way to take group dog obedience classes. Borrowing a theme from health clubs and spas, Hot Diggity Doggie Camp now offers "memberships" so you and your dog can take as much or as little training as you want with flexible schedules you need.

What is Levels Training?

Levels Training is a member's only training program. Families and their dogs can join one of three types of level's membership. Bronze (2-months), Silver (4-months), or Gold (6-months). During your period of enrollment, you can attend as much or as little training as you like. The levels program consists of four skill levels. Each level introduces new skills to your dog while continuing to practice previous skills with more and more distractions. Although each level has specific skill requirements which must be met prior to moving on to the next level, you and your dog progress through the levels at your own pace. Move through all four levels or choose to stay at a lower level. The choice is yours! "It's a new twist on dog training and allows busy owners the flexibility they need to really teach their dog", states Liz Cook, co-owner of Hot Diggity Doggie Camp.

Benefits of Levels Training over traditional classes

  1. Level 1 classes start approximately every six weeks so there is very little wait to enroll your dog in a class.
  2. All the dogs in each level are at a similar stage in training. This allows the instructors to better address the needs of each dog.
  3. Work at your own skill level for as long as necessary. No falling behind since there is no requirement to move up.
  4. Students can revisit a lower level at any time to brush up on previous skills.
  5. Dogs move in and out of each level throughout the training, which provides new dogs as distractions each week.
  6. Students can take time off if they have a very busy week or go out of town. Just return to class at the same level without fear of falling behind.
  7. Have extra time in your schedule? Attend more than one session a week if you are able to do so.

Bronze Membership (2 month Membership): $350

Silver Membership (4 month Membership): $555

Gold Membership (6 month Membership): $760

My dog Lincoln is a 3 yo rescue and he is terrified of new people, places, and things. The training staff at HDDC allowed us to work at our own pace and they have been so patient and supportive of his progress. He has recently been able to attend classes off-site, which a few months ago he never would have been able to do with success. The staff has worked incredibly hard to gain Lincoln's trust and now he gets so excited to play out in the yard with them at day camp. I am truly thankful for all their dedication and hard work with a very anxious rescue pup and highly recommend their training, daycare, and boarding services. Thanks for all that you do HDDC!

Hot Diggity is the BEST! I started using them in 2008 with my first dog, Olive, and have continued to use them with my current dog, Elsa. The original owner, Amy Trice, was fantastic, and the new owners, Liz and Brooke, continue to provide excellent care while expanding the services provided. They have two large yards- one for large dogs, and one for smaller dogs- that are equipped with tons of equipment for the dogs to play with. The staff are always friendly and helpful. They regularly take in fosters and hold fundraisers for local charities. In addition to their Puppy Kindergarten Obedience classes, they have recently started a Levels Training class that helps reinforce basic skills, as well as some more elaborate tricks. I am so glad they are part of our community- coming from Chicago, I had worried about finding a reliable doggy day care and am so glad that they are here to provide this valuable service!
